Work With Us

Old Mill Arts is proud to have worked with many inspiring organisations and groups, nation and region wide. We have given talks, facilitated unique and bespoke workshops and teachings, offered mentoring programs and delivered some of our flagship workshops.

If you are interested in how we could work with your organisation or group, please do get in touch.

Below are some examples of past collaborations…

We gave a talk and co facilitated a print making workshop, using bespoke Old Mill Arts printing ink, with the Climate Kitchen, The Stove, Dumfries. A colour range from our pigments was developed to be used for a re brand and in the design of the organisation’s new logo.

D&G woodlands invited us to facilitate Trysting Trees workshops in wood lands across the region to celebrate the beauty of tree life found in Dumfries and Galloway.

Responding to exhibitions curated by Cample Line, has enabled us to create a range of in depth and meaning bespoke workshops.

We were very fortunate to work with renown photographer Kim Ayres, for his new business promo package which documents a day in the life of a business, enabling an intimate a natural collection of beautiful images to be captured and used in promotional material for the business.

With Outpost Arts, we have been able to work with a wider range of communities and is work we are hoping to develop yet further in the future as we explore the therapeutic potential of creating and using hand made art materials.

Upland is an important organisation for so many artist in D&G, and we are always delighted to collaborate with them. This year we are one of the makers in their program, Modern Makers.

With support from GSA Biosphere and Upland, we offered a unique artists mentoring program.

For Threave Garden’s summer fete, we made a yellow paint from the garden’s spring daffodils. We then ran an activity for the GSA Biosphere tent, providing Old Mill Art’s art materials and created a continuous painting with attendees to the fete.
